Gambian International defender James Gomez is poised to make a return to Denmark, securing a five-year contract with Odense Boldklub after departing Czech side Sparta Praha, according to The Nerve Africa sources.

James Gomez recently represented the Gambia national team at the AFCON 2023, contributing 270 minutes across all three group-stage matches before their eventual elimination.
Having joined Sparta Praha on a four-year deal during the last summer transfer window from AC Horsens in the Danish Superliga, where he impressed over two seasons, the 22-year-old defender had a limited stint with Sparta, featuring in only five matches.
