The 19-year-old Ghanaian attacking midfielder has joined Slovenian club Kidričevo on loan from Austrian top-tier team AC Wolfsberger, as per the Balkan’s club official website.
Zou, who began his football journey with Wafa SC in Ghana, transitioned to Austria earlier this year to continue his development with AC Wolfsberger’s second team. His performances have now earned him a loan spell with the Slovenian side Kidričevo, marking his ninth signing for the club this summer.
In his inaugural interview with Kidričevo, Zou shared his excitement and gratitude for the opportunity.
“I feel very good in Slovenia; everything is beautiful, and everyone at the club is very kind. I want to play at the highest level and believe I can help the club achieve its goals with my performances,” Zou stated. “My teammates have welcomed me warmly, and the coach is excellent. I am fully dedicated to training well and making the most of my opportunities when they come.”
Zou’s arrival is expected to bring a competitive edge to Kidričevo’s midfield as the club aims for top positions in the league. His commitment and skills are seen as valuable assets for the team’s aspirations.
