Ghanaian midfielder David Abagna has embarked on a new chapter in his career, joining Moldovan outfit FC Petrocub Hincesti, Ghana Soccernet reports.
The former Real Tamale United captain secured a loan move from Sudanese powerhouse Al Hilal for the remainder of the season.
Abagna wasted no time making his mark, debuting in style during Petrocub’s commanding 5-0 victory over Balti in the Moldovan topflight league. The club wasted no time in welcoming the talented midfielder, highlighting his prowess as a central midfielder and his contributions to the Ghanaian national team.
With his arrival, Petrocub aims to bolster their squad as they set their sights on league success under the leadership of Nana Yaw Amponsah. Abagna joins fellow Ghanaians Razak Abalora and Seidu Bassit, adding to the club’s international flair and talent pool.
