Gambian international striker Ali Sowe is currently in talks with Turkish Super League side Rizespor for a possible permanent move from Russian giants Rostov, according to The Nerve Africa sources.Β
Ali announced on Saturday his departure from another Turkish club, MKE AnkaragΓΌcΓΌ, after the expiration of his second loan spell with the club.
Ali has spent the last two seasons in Turkey with AnkaragΓΌcΓΌ on a temporary basis from the Russian side Rostov, which currently faces a suspension from global football amidst the Russia-Ukraine war.
The 30-year-old former CSKA Sofia star is in talks with Rizespor and is currently progressing towards a permanent move from Rostov. Both teams are also reportedly negotiating a deal.
Ali has scored 22 goals and provided 7 assists in 66 appearances for the recently relegated Turkish Super League side.
