Nigerian youngster Anthony Dennis could be on the move this summer, with Premier League, German Bundesliga, and French Ligue 1 clubs reportedly showing strong interest, as per Africa Foot.
Dennis, 20, is currently under contract with Turkish Super League side Göztepe until at least the summer of 2027, following a contract extension signed last year. However, his standout performances have drawn scouts from top European leagues to Göztepe’s matches, closely monitoring the midfielder’s progress.
Bonsu, a senior consultant at Elite Project Group—the agency representing Dennis—remained cautious when speaking about the player’s future during an exclusive interview with Africa Foot.
“He’s [Dennis] a top-quality player, and it’s not surprising that his name is being mentioned with top leagues,” Bonsu said. “We want the best for Anthony for the present and future, so we’re taking everything with caution. About where he’ll play next season, we’ll make the best decision for all parties involved. Let’s wait and see.”
Among the clubs linked with Dennis are German Bundesliga side St. Pauli, Premier League outfit Brighton & Hove Albion, and French Ligue 1 team Stade Rennes.
Dennis joined Göztepe from Nigerian club HB Abuja two years ago and has since established himself as a key figure in the midfield, praised for his consistency, work rate, and versatility to play multiple roles.
During the ongoing campaign, Dennis—who has a Transfermarkt valuation of €2 million — has featured in 31 matchesacross all competitions, playing an instrumental role in Göztepe’s impressive run to the Turkish Cup semi-finals. Since joining in 2023, he has made a total of 46 appearances for the club.
On the international front, the young midfielder has yet to make his senior debut for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, although he has previously been called up to the squad.
