Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen, currently on loan from Napoli at Galatasaray, may be on the move again in January, with Chelsea rumored to be among the top contenders, as per Team Talk.
Despite Galatasaray’s desire to retain Osimhen beyond his loan period, reports indicate that the player’s ambitions might lie elsewhere, sparking fresh speculation about a potential Premier League transfer.
Galatasaray, eager to hold onto the prolific forward, are reportedly setting aside €50 million (£42 million) to secure him long-term.

The Turkish club hopes to capitalize on Osimhen’s apparent willingness to remain, especially after he hinted at his satisfaction by responding “Here? Obviously,” when asked where he wanted to play beyond January.
Despite this show of interest, Galatasaray’s chances of keeping Osimhen might be limited. His loan agreement includes a €75 million (£62.8 million) release clause that, if triggered, could see him move to one of Europe’s biggest clubs, including Chelsea, who have kept a keen eye on him. Osimhen has been in stellar form, scoring four goals and assisting four more in just seven games, ranking him among the top scorers in the Turkish Super Lig.
While Galatasaray may struggle to match the financial power of clubs like Chelsea, Osimhen’s Premier League dream could play a pivotal role in his decision. With Chelsea reportedly making the Nigerian striker a priority for their forward line, a January move to Stamford Bridge remains a strong possibility if the release clause is met.
