Gambian international striker Bubacarr “Steve” Trawally is set to join Al-Orooba SC, a newly promoted club in the United Arab Emirates Pro League, according to The Nerve Africa sources.
Steve will return to the UAE for a second stint with a different club, after previously spending two years with Ajman.
The 29-year-old spent the last four months in the Iranian Persian Gulf Pro League with Sanat Naft Abadan, following a short one-year stay with Swedish club Hammarby Fotboll.
One of the most notable strikers from the Gambia, Steve will look to rejuvenate his career and return to the Scorpions set-up under new coach Jonathan McKinstry.
Steve has a current market value of €750,000, which must have been a significant factor in the negotiations for the player and his camp.
