Following his impressive season, Zambian striker Fashion Sakala is gaining interest from Saudi Pro League clubs as well as others in Europe, according to The Nerve Africa sources.
Sources close to the player have told The Nerve Africa that Sakala is committed to Al-Fayha; however, the offers may be too tempting.
“Sakala is very happy at Al-Fayha and is not considering any new challenges at the moment. He is committed to his club, but the offers coming in may be too good for him to decline,” a source said.
Saudi Arabian publication Asharq Al-Awsat reported last week that Al-Ettifaq coach Steven Gerrard, who previously led Sakala at Rangers in Scotland, wants to reunite with the 27-year-old forward.
According to the report, Gerrard considers Sakala one of his top priorities in the market if the team can secure a spot on the foreign list.
Sakala finished joint-third in the Saudi Professional League scoring chart this season, alongside Abderrazak Hamdallah, trailing only Cristiano Ronaldo and Aleksandar Mitrovic.
The Zambian forward has also reportedly received offers from other Arabian clubs
