Gambian international footballer Adama Jarju has officially completed a transfer to Montenegro second division league side FK Bokelj Kotor according to The Nerve Africa.Β
The 25-year-old midfielder has joined the club from Real De Banjul, the Gambia Football Federation first division league champions.
Jarju’s move to FK Bokelj comes with a permanent one-year deal, and there is an option to extend his stay with the Montenegrin club. Although the exact transfer fee remains undisclosed, Jarju’s current market value is reported to be β¬100,000 according to Transfermarkt.
This is not the first time Adama Jarju has ventured into the Balkan region. The player had previously showcased his skills in the Serbian First League and the Serbian Super League. His experience in these leagues is expected to bring added strength and diversity to FK Bokelj’s midfield.
The Gambian midfielder, known for his dynamic style of play, has an impressive track record in his home country. He secured the Gambia Football Federation first division league title with both Wallidan and Real De Banjul. Additionally, Jarju achieved success in the FF Cup and earned a call-up to represent the Gambia U20 national team. Now Adama Jarju embarks on this new chapter of his career in Montenegro.
