The trend of Ghana Premier League players moving abroad continues, as Accra Lions winger Daniel Awuni has secured a transfer to Serbian club FK Čukarički, pending an official announcement, The Nerve Africa can confirm.
The 19-year-old has signed a four-year contract, which is expected to be made official in the coming days.
Awuni recently completed a successful loan spell with Norwegian side Sarpsborg II, where he scored two league goals before his loan ended in December 2024.
He made his senior debut for Accra Lions in the 2021/22 season, scoring twice in 26 league matches. Since then, he has netted six goals in 58 league appearances over the past two seasons.
The talented winger is expected to play a key role at his new club as he embarks on the next chapter of his career.
