Gambian sensation Musa Barrow has signed for Saudi Arabian club Al-Taawoun FC on a €6 million deal from Italian side Bologna FC, as first reported by The Nerve Africa. According to the sources the deal is done, and the club is to confirm the transfer in the nearest hours.
The Gambian number 10 signed a contract with the Wolves that will keep him at the club until 2026. He becomes the third Gambian to sign for a Saudi club this summer, and the fourth in the last two seasons after Modou Barrow, Assan Ceesay, and his close friend Muhammed Badamosi.
The former Atalanta Bergamo player spent the last three seasons with Bologna scoring 27 goals and assisting 28 others in 128 matches, while adding up his overall Serie A goals to 30 and 31 assists.
The 24-year-old has been an admiration for many top European clubs but none of those deals could come to reality and now a chance to be even better will start in the newly dominant league of Saudi.
