Zambia U-20 defender Gift Mpande has joined Israeli second tier side, Hapoel Rishon Lezion on a season long loan deal from Atletico Lusaka FC as earlier reported by theNerveAfrica.com.
The 19-year-old spent two weeks in Italy at Serie A side Cagliari, but a deal never materialized before moving to Israel.
Mpande was among the outstanding Zambian performers at the previous U-20 Africa Cup of Nations.
