Arsenal have joined the pursuit of Victor Osimhen following Manchester United’s reportedly unsuccessful €70 million bid for the Nigerian striker. The Gunners are exploring a January move after Gabriel Jesus’ injury left them in urgent need of attacking reinforcements, as per Team Talk.
The Red Devil’s officials recently traveled to Istanbul, where Osimhen is on loan at Galatasaray from Napoli, but their efforts to secure his signature were rejected. The 26-year-old has been in exceptional form this season, with 14 goals and six assists in 18 games for Galatasaray.

Arsenal have contacted Napoli regarding Osimhen, but finalizing a deal remains uncertain. The prolific striker, who scored 17 goals last season for Napoli, is seen as a potential game-changer for Mikel Arteta’s title-challenging side.
While widely regarded as a top talent, former Tottenham striker Darren Bent has advised Arsenal to avoid signing Osimhen, citing potential attitude concerns and questioning his consistency.
Arsenal are also monitoring RB Leipzig’s Benjamin Sesko and Brentford’s Yoane Wissa as alternative options to bolster their attack.
