Gambian young midfielder Mahmudu Bajo has received an official offer from Slovakian champions SK Slovan Bratislava for a possible move from FK Zeleziarne PodbrezovΓ‘, as per The Nerve Africa. Β
The Slovakians have sent their official offer for the 20-year-old, who has had an impressive season with Zeleziarne, playing and starting in all 27 games. This is the second highest number of appearances by any Gambian player across Europe, after Saidou Khan.
Mahmudu had earlier received offers from Al-Wahda in the United Arab Emirates and Slovan Liberec of the Czech Republic, both of which were rejected during the winter transfer window.
Whether accepted or not, the technically skilled defensive midfielder is very likely to leave Zeleziarne this summer if the right offer arrives, which could now be from Bratislava.
Bajo has a current market value of β¬600,000 according to Transfermarkt, and nothing less than this amount would be accepted to secure his signature.
