The Gambia Scorpions’ new player and St. Johnstone Football Club striker, Adama Sidibeh, has confirmed receiving interest from several English Championship clubs, as per The Nerve Africa sources.Β
The agile striker, who joined the Scottish Premiership club in January 2024 from non-league side Warrington Rylands FC, has had an impressive season with the Saints, scoring 5 goals in 10 starts.
This standout performance has not only earned him a maiden call-up to the Gambia national team for their recent matches but has also garnered interest from several Championship clubs in England eager to secure his signature.
Among the clubs reportedly interested in Sidibeh are Swansea City, Derby County, Huddersfield Town, and Hull City. There is a high possibility of a move just six months after he joined the Saints.
“I have received interest from Championship clubs. I am waiting for my agent to do his work,” Sidibeh confirmed to The Nerve Africa correspondent.Β
The 25-year-old striker, who scored on his debut for The Gambia against Seychelles in the 2026 World Cup qualifiers on June 8, has managed 6 goals in 11 starts for both his club and country combined.
Sidibeh reportedly has a current market value of β¬260,000, which could increase if a move materializes.
