Power Dynamos midfielder, Austin Muwowo, has sparked speculation about a potential return to the DSTV Premiership after expressing his openness to the idea if the terms are favorable for him as a player, as per Bola News.
Muwowo, who joined Power Dynamos from Zesco United on a one-and-a-half-year contract, has been showcasing impressive form at the Kitwe-based club. His recent standout performance saw him net a brace in Power Dynamos’ commanding 4-0 victory over Green Eagles in the Zambian Super League.
The midfielder’s journey in South Africa with Orlando Pirates was fraught with challenges as he struggled for playing time during his two-year stint with the DSTV Premiership side. Despite his talent, Muwowo made only two appearances in the league, totaling a mere 18 minutes from the bench.
Reflecting on his time with Orlando Pirates and the possibility of returning to South Africa, Muwowo emphasized the importance of a favorable deal that aligns with his interests. In an exclusive interview with Bolanews, he stated:
“Going back to SA, you know [maybe if it’s] a good deal. And I would like some things to be changed in the contract, like the things that are going to benefit me. That’s all I can say about SA.”
According to Transfermarkt the midfielder has no current estimated transfer value, but his career high price tag was set at €100,000. Currently, Muwowo remains focused on aiding Power Dynamos and achieving personal milestones in the Zambian league.
