The Gambia International striker Dembo Darboe has concluded his loan spell with Astana FC and returned to his club Al-Nasr SC, as confirmed by the Kazakhstan Premier League club.
Dembo joined Astana in January 2023 for a one-year loan deal, just four months after joining the Gulf club from the Belarusian side Shakhtyor Soligorsk.
The 25-year-old Scorpions striker, with the most club career goals, scored 11 times and assisted 2 others in 44 appearances for Astana while regularly competing in European competitions.
The striker’s current market value is estimated at €1 million, and he could be looking forward to securing a new club away from the Gulf, as a possible return to Europe looks very likely.
