Zambian and former Cardiff City winger Ntazana Mayembe has revealed to the Nerve Africa that he has received numerous offers from Saudi Arabia, Dubai, and Egypt.
The 20-year-old, who was capped twice by Zambia, said he took a break from football after leaving Cardiff in 2022 to explore other opportunities away from the sport.
βI took a break from football, but I am ready to return now,β he said. βI am young and I know what I can do. I will be back.β
After eight years at Cardiff, where he played for the youth team, Mayembe was released, and since then, he has not been playing competitive football.
βI hope that this January I will make a big comeback. I have been doing individual training, and I hope to return soon.β
In September 2023, Mayembe was said to have joined the Welsh side Garw, but the winger said he did not. βI was just training with them. I didnβt sign with them,β he revealed.Β
He also disclosed that he is currently in talks with a number of clubs and could sign soon as he is eager to return to the pitch.
At the moment Transfermarkt doesnβt estimate the playerβs current market value. Earlier in his career he made all his moves as a free agent.Β
