After moving to America, Sserwadda’s salary nearly tripled, marking the biggest increase in the Ugandan’s career. In three years in America, Steven Sserwadda’s transfer value has grown by more than 2.5 times. Currently, Transfermarkt.com values the Ugandan’s transfer at €200,000. Thus, the midfielder ranks among the top five most expensive players under 20 at NY Red Bulls.

Achievements with the National Team 

The midfielder made his debut with the senior Uganda national team in 2022. However, he achieved significant success with the under-20 youth team. In the 2019 African Nations Cup, the Ugandans reached the final, where they lost to Ghana with a score of 2-0. In this tournament, Steven Sserwadda scored twice in the group stage, helping the national team defeat Mozambique and Mauritania and advance to the playoffs.

Currently, Sserwadda is almost not getting playing time in the first team of NY Red Bulls, mostly featuring for the reserve team.
